How to care for your coat

To keep your coat clean and tidy, these are the current recommendations for cleaning and drying:

1. Wash on a gentle washing program at a maximum temperature of 30°C. If necessary, use a soft, damp cloth to remove stains.
2. Never use any kind of fabric softener when washing the coat. These contain strong chemicals that will break down the fibers in the material and eventually remove the waterproof coating. For best results, we recommend detergents such as Nikwax, Grangers, Mountain Warehouse or other similar types. This will ensure that the fabric retains all its good properties.
3. Do not tumble dry. Let it drip dry.
4. Do not use any form of bleach.
5. Do not iron the coat as this will damage the fibres. Hang the coat on a hanger when damp and it will smooth out naturally as it dries.
